HOW WE DO WHAT WE DO
Eagle Eye Broadcasting (EEB) is an extension of something O'Neill JR-SR High School teachers Mike Peterson and Gary Hostert initiated at OHS several years ago. After utilizing Ustream for several years, we began to use HighSchoolCube, "The Cube" for live broadcasting of O'Neill Public Schools events. We currently have upgraded our equipment and are able to use Wirecast from Telestream to broadcast directly to our YouTube Channel, Twitter and Facebook.
Our goal is to broadcast as many live events from OHS as we can.
Utilizing students from grades 7-12, we give students in EEB real-world experience in the field of broadcasting. Students learn how to think on the run, research the teams or activities involved before they broadcast and teamwork.
Thanks to Three River Digital and Telebeep Wireless for providing free Internet services for our broadcasts at our remote sites.
